Terms of Service
Effective July 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Method Web Studio website and client portal. By using them, you agree to these terms. Project-specific proposals, statements of work, and signed agreements control if they conflict with these general terms.
Services and proposals
Scope, deliverables, timing, revision limits, fees, and payment schedules are defined in the applicable proposal or client agreement. Estimates are based on the information available when provided. Material scope changes may require a revised timeline or fee.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for timely content, approvals, access credentials, and accurate business information. Clients confirm they have permission to use all text, images, logos, trademarks, and other materials they provide. Delayed feedback or missing materials may move the delivery date.
Payments and subscriptions
Invoices are due according to the applicable agreement. Work may pause on overdue accounts. Recurring care plans renew at the disclosed interval until cancelled. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, cancellation applies to future renewal periods and does not refund work already performed or fees already due. Payment processing is provided by Stripe and is also subject to Stripe's terms.
Ownership and portfolio use
Method Web Studio retains ownership of work until the agreed fees are paid. After full payment, ownership or license rights transfer only as described in the project agreement. Preexisting tools, reusable systems, licensed fonts, stock assets, third-party software, and platform components remain subject to their original ownership and licenses. Unless a client agreement says otherwise, Method Web Studio may display completed public-facing work in its portfolio and marketing.
Third-party services
Websites may rely on hosting, domains, email, analytics, payment, scheduling, or other third-party services. Their availability, pricing, policies, and performance are controlled by those providers. Clients are responsible for ongoing third-party fees unless the project agreement expressly includes them.
Acceptable use and accounts
You may not misuse the website or portal, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the service to violate another person's rights. Account credentials must be kept confidential, and suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide professional design and development services with reasonable care, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific search rankings, sales, revenue, or results controlled by third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Method Web Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Any direct liability relating to a project is limited to the amount paid to Method Web Studio for the service giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Termination and governing law
Access may be suspended for nonpayment, security risk, or material violation of these terms. Rights and obligations that by their nature should continue—including payment, ownership, confidentiality, and liability provisions—survive termination. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Method Web Studio’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
